Barry made his first piece of furniture [ a coffee table with inlaid chess board ] at the age of 15 for his woodwork 'O' level, this table is still in use some 40 years later!  It was this that sealed his passion for the craft.

Since that time many years ago he has plied his trade in many fields but has continued to work in Art, Sculpture, and Craft in a myriad of forms.  He has now returned to his first love and combined a lifetime of skills and imagination in his latest line of work which includes cabinets, mirrors, tables and iron garden fencing.

Barry's work draws heavily on the Arts and Craft Movement of the early 20th century, in particular William Morris and Edward Burne Jones, with its romantic themes and the use of Fauna and Flora.  I hope you like his work.  Please fell free to call Barry to discuss any of his work or any commissions you may be interested in having him create, he would love to hear from you.
